SUBMISSIONS:
Why must applications only be written in any Scandinavian language (Danish/Norwegian/Swedish) or English?
- Because these are the languages the committee can read, and unfortunately we do not have funding to translate applications written in other languages. We apologise to our Baltic, Finnish and Icelandic colleagues.
Why do I need to submit the application in one single e-mail?
- Due to limited administrative budgets we need to ask for applications in one e-mail with the contact person’s name as subject line. We are grateful for any help we can get from you as individuals to make the process as smooth as possible.
Who of the three potential residents should be the contact person?
- The person who is most practical for the group submitting an application. To us it is important that the person appointed as contact person will be able to answer e-mails/pick up the phone if we need to get in touch with you during the month of February 2011.
Can we apply for a residency at a specific institution?
- If you have a preference, please note this and we will take it into consideration but cannot guarantee to accommodate your wish.
Why do you only accept applications electronically?
- Due to the nature of the collaboration between the host institutions, being separated by geography, we need to be able to circulate the applications electronically and do not have administrative budgets to transform hard copies to electronic copies.
Will you be accepting applications for 2012 on the February deadline 2011?
- No. There will be a separate call for applications for the 2012 residency on a later stage if the programme continues.

What are the formats you prefer for text attachments?
- .doc/.docx/.odt/.pdf are all good formats. Make sure the files are marked so that we can recognise them and cross reference them with the application form.
